Strategy by Curiosity

Valeria Caro black and white

I've built things from scratch in places where the playbook didn't exist yet. Turns out, that's when curiosity becomes a strategy.

I turn data and curiosity into strategies that work, whether that's organic search, content, or something new entirely. Right now, I'm looking for the right team to do that with.

My Approach

Collaboration

I believe the best results come from environments where questions are encouraged and expertise is shared. I don’t just deliver "tasks"- I explain the why behind them. By empowering people, we make strategy smarter and the team stronger.

Creativity

Coming from a background in politics, I don’t see SEO in a vacuum. I look at how a brand fits into the current cultural temperature. In uncertain times, I focus on narratives that build safety and trust. I view SEO as a way to position a brand as the authority, expanding presence beyond a website and into wherever people are actually searching, whether that’s a podcast or an AI prompt.

Agility

I’ve built things from scratch in markets where I didn’t know the language or the players. That has taught me to be comfortable with the "unknown." Whether it’s a slow-burn SEO strategy or a sudden shift in how AI changes search, I pivot quickly. I don't wait for a playbook to be written; I observe the data, trust my instincts, and build the path forward myself.

  • I’m currently looking for a full-time role within a team where I can grow and inspire. SEO/Content/Strategy are my strengths, but I am looking for a more marketing generalist role.

In the meantime, I take on select freelance projects, specifically audits, content frameworks, or zero-to-one growth strategies, where I can make a high impact quickly

  • I start with data and deep observation. Whether it's a freelance audit or a full-time strategy, I identify the “why” behind the current numbers, find the gaps the competition is missing, and build a scalable system. I don't just do the work; I build the documentation so the success is repeatable.

  • Yes. I manage my freelance capacity to ensure that even when I transition into a full-time role, all active projects have a clear hand-off or completion point. My goal is to add value immediately, whether that’s for a three-week sprint or a long-term career partnership
